What it costs, what is included, and exactly what happens between filling in a form and standing at a station. No part of this is designed to be mysterious.

The numbers

- $11,000, all in: coursework, all 1,500 program hours, and your kit

- 1,500 hours, about 9 months. For roughly the first 3 months you are in class for part of the day, getting ready for the boards, and on the floor for the rest of it.
- Class schedule
- Tuesday to Friday 9:30am to 5:30pm. Saturday 9am to 5pm
- Payment plan
- $500 to register and $700 for your kit on your start date, then the remaining $9,800 in 8 monthly payments of $1,225.
- Financial aid
- The school does not take FAFSA, but ask us about the programs that can help shoulder the cost. Veterans' benefits and disabled worker programs are two of them.

What the kit is
Tuition covers the coursework, your 1,500 hours on the floor, and the kit. The kit is paid for once, on your first day, and it is yours: books, clippers, trimmers, shaver, brushes, combs, smock and cape.
The kit is $700 of the total, paid on your start date.

We call you back
A conversation about what you want out of it and whether the schedule works around your life. Questions in both directions.
- Step 3
Book a tour and an interview
Come in and walk the room while it is running. Watch a cut, sit down with an instructor, and talk to someone who is three months in. They will tell you the truth about it.
- Step 4
Enroll
This is the actual application: enrollment paperwork, and the $500 registration deposit. It is applied to your tuition, not charged on top of it.

First day
You get a kit and a station, and you start.
